Maric Gavino releases newest single “Kung Mabalik Na Ang Tanan”
Lucky are those who found love despite a global pandemic. It’s rare to find it these days especially a real, genuine one when looking for love is the least of everyone’s priority this year. Or when you think you finally found ‘the one’, that person just suddenly left you hanging or worse, ghosted you. Only to find out he/she is in a rocky relationship or plainly bored at the time.
For Maric Gavino’s newest track, he’s all about those who found genuine love when the world is at a standstill. “Kung Mabalik Na Ang Tanan”, as Maric calls it, is a “Pandemic Love Song”.
“Regardless of what's happening in the world right now, there are people who found their "special someone" while on quarantine. Many found love and felt the instant connection even though they still can't see each other due to lockdowns,” the singer-songwriter from Davao told The Middle Mag PH.
Maric shared that it wasn’t part of the plan to release the song as an official single until his friends told him otherwise. “After how many days, people liked it and I realized it has the potential. So I did a few rewrites and had it arranged by the great Marvin Corpus and yeah, it came out so amazing!”
He, later on, added that the ukulele-aided track dwells on the fact that anyone could still fall in love these days albeit the looming threat of COVID-19 pandemic but of course, do it responsibly.
You can stream “Kung Mabalik na ang Tanan” on YouTube Music. The said single will also be available on Spotify and Apple Music starting December 30, 2020.
